Recently I traveled to Sedona, Arizona a very magical and galactic city located in the Red Rocks of powerful vortex sites. This was not my first trip to visit the Red Rocks and I was very familiar with the powerful vortex energies surrounding the area.
I was there primarily for a business conference however we had one day open for sightseeing. I was attending the conference with my good friend Sally and we decided to go hiking and visit some of the vortexes on our day off. We packed up our lunch and stopped at the ranger station to get a hiking map and some directions.
We decided to hike down a trail that runs behind “Cathedral Church” vortex over to the Red Oak Canyon Creek. We were told it was a great spot to stop and have our lunch by the beautiful flowing creek.
We started our hike towards the Red Oak Canyon Creek taking a different route than originally planned that was a longer hike. We had a late start and it was close to lunchtime. My friend Sally started to get a little low blood sugar so we stopped for a few minutes so she could eat some food. Also, we just detoured off the trail a bit and were not quite sure which path to take down to the creekbed. I was also hungry but something inside told me to “wait until we reached the creek”. I really wanted to eat my lunch by the cool waters of the creek.
So, we continued walking on and found the path down to the creek. We soon picked out a spot right on a big flat rock by the cool running creek. It was perfect and we practically had the place to ourselves!
I was pretty hungry so I pulled out my wrapped tuna fish sandwich I had purchased that morning at Whole Foods in Sedona. As I unwrapped the sandwich I noticed it was nicely cut in half. I pulled out one half to eat and then wrapped up the other half of the sandwich and put it back in my backpack. As I enjoyed eating my sandwich I remember I was so happy. I felt so good, relaxed, open, peaceful and in a state of simple joy enjoying my lunch sitting by the refreshing cool creek waters! It was so perfect there was nothing I could have asked for in that moment. I remember saying a blessing for my food and being really grateful for this wonder filled experience I was enjoying.
After a few minutes I finished my half of the tuna fish sandwich and still felt a little hungry so I decided to eat the other half of the sandwich. I then opened the wrapper and to my amazement and unbelief, there before me was not a half sandwich but a whole sandwich! What? It took me a few moments for it to register in my brain and body as I looked at the sandwich I thought how did this happen? How is I have a whole sandwich and not a half of a sandwich?
Then I remembered a conversation I had several months ago during an intuitive reading that reminded me of the principle of the “fishes and loaves” parable taught by Jesus. Here is the story from John 6:14.
“The Feeding of the 5,000 is also known as the “miracle of the five loaves and two fishes”; the Gospel of John reports that Jesus used five loaves and two fishes supplied by a boy to feed a multitude. According to Matthew’s gospel, when Jesus heard that John the Baptist had been killed, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Luke specifies that the place was near Bethsaida. The crowds followed Jesus on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick. As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
Jesus said that they did not need to go away, and therefore the disciples were to give them something to eat. They said that they only had five loaves and two fishes, which Jesus asked to be brought to him. Jesus directed the people to sit down in groups on the grass. In Mark’s Gospel, the crowds sat in groups of 50 and 100, and in Luke’s Gospel, Jesus’ instructions were to seat the crowd in groups of 50, implying that there were 100 such groups.
Taking the five loaves and the two fishes and looking up to Heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve baskets full of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children. In John’s Gospel, the multitude has been attracted around Jesus because of the healing works he has performed, and the feeding of the multitude is taken as a further sign that Jesus is the Messiah, the prophet who (according to the promise in the Book of Deuteronomy (Deuteronomy 18:15) ) is to come into the world” (John 6:14).
I remember recalling this story when I looked at the whole sandwich and thinking to myself “fishes and loaves”. I believe Jesus was teaching the people about the Law of Abundance/Prosperity and how to develop this line of thinking within their own consciousness.
“Eating symbolizes mental appropriation. The multitude to be fed is our thoughts. Man’s food is the substance of Spirit. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” He partakes of the word of God by affirmation, and so eats of the sustaining substance of Spirit. The “loaves” represent substance, and the “fishes” are ideas of increase.”
So, on that beautiful day in the vortex of Sedona, I was shown a miracle that reminded me that man’s food is the substance of Spirit and by the very word that comes out of the mouth of God (man) or divine thoughts we are sustained on the physical realm of this Earth. Our own soul light made of Spirit (pure love) is enough because it is our source of abundance! It is all we need to sustain our selves on the Earth plane and always has been!
I can’t tell you exactly “how” this miracle happened I can only share with you the alignment I felt in the moment of being totally peaceful, grateful, inspired, open to receive and absorbed 100% in the experience. Everything was aligned in that sweet moment and that is enough when we let go and let God/Spirit support us!
It was a wonderful reminder of the innate spiritual power we hold as human (DIVINE) spiritual beings and that miracles are a natural occurrence when we let our guard down and stop trying to control every moment of our lives. It was a powerful reminder that abundance is all around us everyday and we have the innate power to tap into it!d
I believe with all my heart that many more miracles like this are coming into the Earth plane as we anchor in these radiant nourishing Divine Mother energies into our bodies, we become the embodiment of living light and love, miracle makers and creators of the New Heaven On Earth.
What do you believe beloved? Do you believe you are also one with the Creator of All That Is? Are you a divine being of love and light in a human suit?
